Gwen Kaplan, Founder of Ace Mailing
Gwen Kaplan is one of the country’s foremost authorities on direct marketing. She is a successful entrepreneur, a university lecturer and an active community leader throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. Ace Mailing, which Kaplan founded in 1977, is a full-service direct marketing company offering database creation, management and maintenance, creative services, graphic design, printing, email and postal mail services, fulfillment, and warehousing. Marketing theories that Kaplan has successfully used in promoting the clients of Ace Mailing earned her the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce Woman Entrepreneur of the Year Award and the winner of the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce Excellence in Business Award. She is an alumna of Leadership San Francisco and Leadership California and an alumna of The Anderson School at UCLA Management Development for Entrepreneurs. She is a member of Women Presidents’ Organization, the Board of Directors of the San Francisco Council of District Merchant Associations and the Board of Directors of the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce and Chair of the Small Business Advisory Council.
