About the Speaker
Wendy Gillihan (Gryffin Consulting) has over fifteen years of experience in small business and non-profit accounting and HR. her areas of focus are accounting and HR system project management, establishing internal controls, and business strategy.
Her education includes a BS in Business and Master of Accountancy from the Gore School of Business at Westminster College. She holds the Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and SHRM-CP certifications, and is a CPA candidate. For her non-paid life, she sits on the board of trustees for the Seattle Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce as a representative for the small business community. She previously served on the Seattle Women’s Commission (chair), and currently serves on the Labor Standards Advisory Commission (chair) advising the Mayor and City Council on issues of economic opportunity for our region.
