Local businesses are critical to the character and vibrancy of our community. However, retailers face a lot of challenges these days: the rising cost of rent, competing with online merchants, juggling vendor relationships, managing social media, and more.
As part of Berkeley Small Business Week, Buy Local Berkeley and Townsquared are hosting a breakfast specifically for Berkeley retailers. It’s a great opportunity to network, learn from each other, build community, and discuss local issues and policies that affect local businesses.
This event is free and open to any small business owner in Berkeley. It’s taking place at Gaumenkitzel where breakfast will be provided by Buy Local Berkeley and Townsquared.
Townsquared is a private online network where local business owners can ask questions and share information about common issues, such as permits, crime and safety, marketing, accounting, business operations, and more. If you’re not a Townsquared member, you can sign-up for a free account using invite code RETAIL.
