Townsquared Happy Hour with Kiva
Where Oakland, CA
When
Tuesday 25, 2017 at 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Join us for our happy hour in partnership with Kiva! Townsquared is delighted to partner with Kiva to celebrate and support people looking to create a better future for themselves, their families, and their communities.

Come get a drink on us, network, and learn about how to get involved. Meet amazing entrpreneurs and colleagues who are going to the next level with their dreams, passion, and businesses through Kiva loans. Meet the lenders whose contributions, small and big, made it happen and Kiva staff who make the connections and program work!

Townsquared is a member-driven community where local businesses come together, online and off, to collaborate on solutions to city issues, work together on crime and safety concerns, talk about the impact of legislative changes, and meet up at free educational workshops on everything from graphic design to social media. Connect with other Oakland local businesses: It’s easy, free, and just for local businesses like you. Ask questions, get answers. Give info, get info. Share resources, get resources. No marketing — just people helping people.

Kiva is an international nonprofit, founded in 2005 and based in San Francisco, with a mission to connect people through lending to alleviate poverty. We celebrate and support people looking to create a better future for themselves, their families and their communities. By lending as little as $25 on Kiva, anyone can help a borrower start or grow a business, go to school, access clean energy or realize their potential. For some, it’s a matter of survival, for others it’s the fuel for a life-long ambition. Click here for more information on Kiva.

Please join us in welcoming new members to our Townsquared community, meeting and celebrating our Kiva partnership, and having a good time! And if you’re not a Townsquared member, you can sign-up for a free account.
