An attorney and entrepreneur, Kirsten Curry is the founder and President of Leading Retirement Solutions, a full service retirement plan provider. Curry founded Leading Retirement Solutions with a commitment to three core principles: transparent and un-biased services; custom open architecture retirement plan solutions; and access to traditional and non-traditional investments.
A graduate of Gonzaga University and Seattle University School of Law, Curry is authorized to practice law in the state of Washington. Prior to starting Leading Retirement Solutions, she co-founded Rains Group of Companies and served as President of Rains Plan Group, a Third Party Administrator. Curry also previously built and operated another third-party administration practice, administering over 3,500 retirement plans and managing 60+ employees in multiple offices across the United States.
Curry‘s company offers: consulting services, plan design, administration, record keeping, government reporting, and correction and compliance services. Curry and her team custom design retirement plan solutions for each company, working directly with business owners to provide access to the right investments and services for their organization. Curry has extensive experience in corporate and non-profits retirement plans, including 401(k), 403(b), 457, Church plans, defined benefit plans and more.
Prior to embarking on her career as an attorney, Curry plied the seas for over a decade working as a commercial fisherman in Alaska. As an independent commercial fisherman, she developed an entrepreneurial spirit at a very young age. Active in her own community as well as the employee benefits community, Curry currently serves as the President and Board Member of the ASPPA Benefits Council of the Great Northwest and previously co-chaired the Staff Benefits Committee of the Seattle Yacht Club.
