Business owners face the multiple issues of building wealth, retaining key employees, providing appropriate employee benefits, developing a retirement or exit strategy, and managing their family finances. As a Certified Financial Planner practitioner, I help objectively review alternative solutions and implement appropriate ones. My goal is to help business owners spend more time doing what they went into business to do, and families to worry less about finances, leaving more time to enjoy their lives.
After a career in management consulting for a Big Eight (now Four) firm ended with the “dot com crash,” I moved on to apply my planning skills and MBA knowledge to smaller, local businesses. Working with several general agents, I can provide objective advice on employee benefits, key person insurance, buy-sell funding, and other financial issues facing business owners.
I am a long time member and VP of Education at Rockridge Toastmasters. If you want to improve your public speaking skills, get in touch.
My spare time is devoted in large part to my family: my daughter, just starting her freshman year of college; my son, a senior in high school and forward for varsity and club soccer teams; and my puppy, the world’s friendliest dog. I look forward to connecting with you.
