Sometimes business just dies. Not like you'll go out of business. But a slowing down of new sales/patrons/clients/patients and existing ones drifting away. I learned what to do after hiring a management consultant 10 years ago. These 4 basic actions really make a huge difference.
1. Economize: Halt all non fixed spending. Save your $ resources as much as possible.
2. Promote: Reach your public/ market/customer with your message or promo often and loud. Add value.
3. Prepare to deliver: Make certain that when 'they' walk through the 'door' you're ready to serve them what 'they' came for. (That's all the details of readiness).
4. Stiffen discipline: Everyone knows exactly what they should be doing, and that they are doing it.
Can you see this applying to your business? What would you add or subtract?
