I was reading that the folks who own Romans in Ft Greene, Marlowe and Sons and Diner in Wburg, just eliminated tipping at their restaurant the Reynard in the Wythe Hotel. Essentially, they raised prices 20%. Has anyone else in the restaurant biz thought about doing this? What do you think? Also, as a customer at a restaurant, what do you think about eliminating tipping and just raising prices to tip out the whole staff?
