I recently started going to a wonderful yoga studio that has an amazing program wherein the tasks required to maintain the studio are provided by dedicated students working a set shift each week, who in turn receive free unlimited classes and other perks. I think this is such a great idea, similar to a work-study arrangement, in that people who really care about the space are responsible for keeping it beautiful. I am all for trades and bartering, and I am hoping to see more of this at other establishments! Does anyone else have any experiences (good or bad) with trading for services or products? Would love to hear about it!
