Every company needs employees who are enthusiastic and bring the very best of themselves to work. Those employees who are excited about solving problems, making recommendations, expressing their new ideas, are the ones that best represent the brand and take care of customers. One of my clients in the restaurant business is having difficulties to personally connect with her employees while still maintaining a position of authority. She has different businesses which are doing well; however, she is struggling to be a good leader and her employees are leaving her. I want to hear your thoughts on how you connect with your employees creating bonds and healthy relations to share with her your feedback. When we trust and respect our staff--and really connect with them--they will respond with commitment and enthusiasm. These days it is not enough to offer a good service or product.
