How much do you invest in your continuing education of your craft or business? As a fitness instructor, I'm certified, but I'm required to invest a lot of money in update courses and learning additional techniques and new equipment to build my own knowledge and experience, but also to be able to present new material to my clients and keep them challenged and interested. I used to work in fashion design, and was required to learn new computer programs and systems as technology evolved, but that was for a big corporate company and I didn't really give much thought to the cost as it wasn't coming out of my own pocket. I was wondering what % others budget or spend for their own (or their employees') continuing education; we are after all, always learning and striving to be better at what we do!
