I thought it'd be neat if we shared a time we were especially impressed or wow'ed by another local business, whether it was the service, the creativity, the "warmth" (as someone else wrote a bit ago), anything. I can start: I had visited Yasha Ramen, here in the Upper West Side (106th / Amsterdam), six or seven times and saw one waiter the first time and a different one all the other times. The next time I arrived, I saw the first waiter again and he gave me a loyalty card, punched all of the needed "visits" on the card, and apologized that he'd forgotten to give me one on my first visit but he heard I'd been back often so I could get a free meal. It was a small gesture, but I appreciated it! How about you?
