Just learned about this proposed streetcar in Sunset Park. The sentiment seems to be that gentrification will be a byproduct ????? but I wonder it always has to end up that way.. Do we have any control over the futures of our communities? With enough of a heads up on such a big change like this, are there ways to protect residents and small businesses while enjoying the benefits (in this case) of new methods of transport?
