I installed my webcams in my restaurant for a year now, and found them amazingly useful, especially when I am not at the restaurant. I can see just about everything at anytime....as if I am there. One of my camera even has cloud service that I can play back 7 days of recording. And they are very affordable.
But I have to warn you, it can be technically challenging to set them up physically, as well as to set them up to watch remotely whether be on your iPad, or phone, or at your home computer. My advise is to find a company that has good phone support, preferably 24/7. The company I initially worked with was Foscam, but the company had split up and became Foscam, based in China, and Armrest, based in US. It is very frustrating sometimes dealing with Foscam in China. Does any of you use webcam? Any recommendations?
