At times when I get down and depressed due to business reasons I look to fly with the eagles... I read about others who faced uncertainty & impossible odds in the eye of the storm and won big. Ronan Tynan is a perfect example...Ronan was born a twin on 5/14/60, in Dublin. He went on to graduate medical school and specialized in orthopedic sports injuries. But Ronan had a burning feeling inside to accomplish more. He gave up medical practice and went to music school. In 1992, he won a prestigious award at a Dublin festival and by 1994 he was accepted into the England's Royal Opera School. Made his debut in "Madam Butterfly" and recorded his first album in 1988, and best selling hit "My Life Belongs To Me". He appeared on PBS and was profiled by 20/20 in 2001, when he wrote his autobiography "Halfway Home". But his remarkable accomplishments were not his medical degree, recording career or publishing his book. It was his numerous world records in track & field events in the Special Olympics. You see due to his birth defects & complications which claimed the life oh his twin brother at birth, Ronan had both legs amputated at age 20. He decided not to get depressed but to soar like an eagle and eagles fly because they think they can.
